Grilled Hamburgers

I know, hamburgers, what's the big deal, well really nothing, but have you ever tried to enjoy the sensation of eating a hamburger when you are allergic to the bun? Sure you can use a knife and fork, but where is the fun in that?

The solution is simple, but who would think of it: A Wrap or Tortilla

Add some organic ketchup and regular mayo for the win. His burger was far more interesting, but then again he got a real bun.

Tip: Anything you can put on a bun or roll can be put into a wrap.

Why this blog?
My husband does most of the cooking in the house. My food allergies and years of anorexia has left me with a rather difficult relationship to food. Thus when left alone, I tend to not eat. When he is home he has been very creative in cooking so that we don't eat the same thing every night. A yeast allergy eliminates nearly all processed food from our diet and pre-made spices. To help reduce my chances of additives in our food we signed up with Blue Ribbon to have 7 months of food delivered. The chicken, beef and other meats taste like meat tasted when I was a child, before all the chemical farming processes.

I hope you get some enjoyment out of these posts. I occasionally bake and I'll share some of my tips on enjoying food without dairy or yeast.
